CEFA aims to provide cost effective services particularly to small events with limited budgets, though it is happy to consider any event. In doing this, it also aims to provide a pool of well trained and experienced first-aiders, and equipment, available to assist in community emergencies.

CEFA First Aiders all have current HLTAID003 (“level 2”) qualifications, most have in addition HLTAID007 (“advanced resuscitation”) and many have additional qualifications as well.

All CEFA First Aiders are volunteers – their training is paid for, and simple expenses reimbursed, but they receive no payment for their time. The fees charged cover these expenses and keeping equipment and supplies up to date.

CEFA is incorporated as a Victorian not-for-profit Association.

Where your favourite band plays their best set, while a bloke tries to tell you an over-exaggerated story of the one that got away.
